About Me

Hi there, I'm Becky, also known as Ambeelou!

Hello, my name is Becky Jury, known online as Ambeelou. I'm a neurodivergent Illustrator & Animator, and BA (Hons) Visual Communication Graduate.Oftentimes, speaking up and having confidence in myself is a challenge. But my one sole passion has always revolved within the world of animation and visual storytelling ever since a young age, and is something I can truly excel at.I have dreamed of working in the industry of Animation to share my own stories, experiences, characters, and interests, which I am passionate about. I enjoy trying out different mediums of moving imagery, and find fun in teaching others about the many processes of it.I primarily use 2D digital animation and illustration for my work, and am very experienced with Procreate and Procreate Dreams for iOS. However, I am very open to try and explore different mediums and techniques!Furthermore, I have enjoyed techniques such as sound design and video editing in the past, and always love to express myself through my own characters; through the means of written stories, animated GIFs, memes, or animatics!
